New Rare Studio
We work alongside founder-led luxury hospitality brands to apply AI with intention—only where it meaningfully strengthens human connection and sharpens judgment. Our work is small by design, deeply contextual, and grounded in real operations.
We’re looking for a part-time Forward-Deployed Engineer who enjoys being close to the work: embedded with operators, translating ambiguity into systems that quietly make things better.
The Role
You’ll partner directly with New Rare Studio and a small number of hospitality operators to:
Sit close to real operational problems—on calls, in documents, occasionally on-site
Translate nuanced human workflows into pragmatic AI-supported systems
Build narrow, installable tools (internal automations, intelligence layers, decision support)
Iterate quickly, with taste, restraint, and respect for the environment you’re working in
Ship work that disappears into the operation—freeing time, improving clarity, protecting the guest experience
What You’ll Work On
Composable AI systems embedded into existing tools and workflows
Internal intelligence for founders and leadership teams
Operator-facing tools that reduce cognitive load and administrative drag
Prototypes that may evolve into paid products—or may simply do their job and stay quiet
What We’re Looking For
Strong applied engineering judgment (software, data, AI/ML, or automation)
Comfort working in ambiguity, close to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to move from conversation → system → working artifact
Taste for simplicity, discretion, and durability over cleverness
Interest in hospitality, service, and human-centered work
Hospitality experience preferred
Structure
Part-time, flexible hours
Project-based, with the potential for deeper collaboration over time
Designed to fit alongside other work, not consume it
To Apply
Please reach out to info@newrare.studio

We’re looking for an Experiential Luxury Hospitality Operations Advisor who brings deep operating experience and sound judgment—someone who understands how great hospitality is actually delivered, and can help ensure that any system, process, or technology serves the experience rather than distracts from it.

Advise on real-world operational challenges across service, staffing, and guest experience
Bring practical insight into how decisions land on the floor, with teams, and with guests

Help translate abstract opportunity into operationally sound direction
Protect the integrity, discretion, and human quality of the hospitality experience
What You’ll Work On
Operational reviews and advisory conversations with founders and leadership teams
Input into AI-supported systems and workflows to ensure they reflect real service environments
